30 Paintings Days 1 and 2.

Hey Guys,

 I just thought I'd bunch a few of these up at a time, but here's my first post with them so I've got my first 2 paintings for yas. 

 The challenge is incredibly inspiring and the response I've had so far has been nothing short amazing. My Facebook page has started to take off and the audience is building. Incredibly cool. 

 As you know, my theme for the challenge is Rivers of the World. Here are The Murray River and The River Seine.

    Love the atmosphere in your work. Even if I don't finish the challenge, I usually discover at least one new artist that I would not have if I hadn't joined. That is a big plus for me due to not being formerly trained...learning from other artists is like a little workshop. Will definitely be keeping up with your work. Wish you success.

I was fortunate enough to travel a couple of hours down the freeway to Sydney last week to check out an exhibition of work from five fantastic artists, three of which are among my absolute favourites.  In the Winterlude exhibit, held at Artarmon Galleries, you get to peruse the work of Joseph Zbukvic, Herman Pekel, Alvaro Castagnet, Nic Canosa and Patrick Carroll. What can I say? The work was both beyond inspirational and in some cases, beyond amazing. Incredible.
